Kim Kardashian Plastic Surgery Before and After Pictures?
Thanks to the hit E! series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim has gone from being a nobody to a somebody. Famous for being famous. But Kim Kardashian plastic surgery rumors have surfaced recently along with compelling evidence that this knockout is far from being a natural beauty.
Kim Kardashian Nose Job?
It appears the Kim probably has a nose job (rhinoplasty) to thin out and streamline her nose. Pictures of her from years ago reveal a wider, thicker, more bulbous tip. Although there is no solid proof that she had rhinoplasty, most say the photographic evidence speaks for itself.
Kim Kardashian Boob Job?
Breast implants are another procedure it appears very likely she has had. Kim went from having average sizes breasts, to a huge, oversized in-your-face chest. Again this is another rumor where although there is no concrete evidence it is difficult to explain how this naturally could have occurred.
Kim Kardashian Lip Injections?
She displays the classic trout lips we often see on Hollywood stars today. This look is almost always the result of an injectable lip filler such as Juvederm or Restylane.
Kim Kardashian Butt Implants?
If there’s one thing she’s famous for, it’s her posterior. Buttock augmentation is an extremely rare procedure but based on the before and after photos of Kim Kardashian, it’s hard to explain how her curves went from being virtually non-existent to exaggerated. Many plastic surgeons speculate that the rumors of Kim Kardashian butt implants are false and that instead she had a procedure known as fat transfer, where fat was taken from another part of her body and injected into her rear.
Kim Kardashian Plastic Surgery - Before and After Butt Implants?
The ladies from this hit show are some of the most fashionable on TV… who wouldn’t want to copy the Gossip Girl hairstyles for themselves? Whether you’re on Team Serena or Team Blair, you know that truces can be drawn in the name of their hairstyles. Both women have tresses that are enviable and that are setting trends around the hair world. If you want to live like they do on the Upper East Side, you may not be able to afford the designer handbag but you can easily recreate their hairstyles at home with your trusty curling iron.
Serena Van Der Woodsen Hair
Serena Van Der Woodsen Hair (Team Serena)
Serena, played by actress Blake Lively, has gorgeous blonde locks that cascade down her back. Her hair has a romantic quality, heightened by the soft waves and curls that usually define it. If you have hair that falls mid-back or lower in length then you can create her look by investing in a one-inch curling iron. Divide your hair into manageable sections. Pin back these sections, leaving one section free to work with. Once your curling iron has heated to the degree of heat appropriate for your hair type, take a half to one-inch section of your hair to curl. Starting at the bottom of the section, clamp the hair and roll it up to the base of your scalp, being careful not to actually touch your skin. Hold hair in curled position for around five seconds and then release. Repeat this curling pattern throughout your hair. Serena usually has smoother look at the crown of her hair, so make sure to keep the top of your hair polished and sleek. Now you know how to get hair like Serena Van Der Woodsen.
Leighton Meester Hair
Leighton Meester Hair (Team Blair)
Blair, played by actress Leighton Meester, has rich brown hair that falls around shoulder length. While causing a headband comeback, Blair keeps her hair style classically smooth with a hint of wave. Again using the versatile one-inch barrel curling iron, you can create this perfectly-coiffed look. First smooth out any waves or curls from your hair by using your curling iron as if it were a flat iron. A curling iron is better for this straightening job as it will better retain the volume in your hair. Simply clamp small sections and smooth the iron down the shaft of the hair, as if brushing it. Once your hair has been smoothed out, take one to two inch sections of your hair, clamp at the bottom of the piece and wrap hair once around the barrel, holding the curling iron vertically, and then release. This will create a slight flip and wave throughout your hair that Blair is known for. Just add a headband and you’ll be causing trouble like Blair in no time.
Whether you are looking to create the style of Serena or Blair, you can get gossip worthy hair at home when you use the right tools. A curling iron is an easy way to create fabulous looks that are red-carpet ready. Using a curling iron can seem intimidating but the more you practice, the more adept you will become at making beautiful hairstyles effortlessly. Also, of course, you will have to have similar Gossip Girl haircuts - just bring in a few pics to your stylist and she can give you a cut to accommodate the hairstyle. XOXO.
In today’s world of celebrities, movie stars, and runway models, there always seems to be the few that attempt to regain their youth through the use of cosmetic surgery. While Mickey Rourke was once considered one of the best looking actors in Hollywood, he now has all of the telltale signs of how horribly wrong plastic surgery can go. In fact, the Mickey Rourke plastic surgery nightmare should serve as a reminder to everyone that these procedures won’t necessarily make you look better.
In 1986, Mickey Rourke shot to stardom with the megahit 9 ˝ Weeks. Costarring with Kim Bassinger, this movie set the stage for a more visually sexual base for many future films. Critics both loved and hated this film, specifically for the highly erotic sex scenes, but few movies can be listed as a turning point in Hollywood. Love it or hate it, 9 ˝ weeks certainly has become somewhat of a legend in a town where fame comes and goes quickly.
For Mickey Rourke, 9 ˝ Weeks, was a turning point in his acting career; however, it also influenced many bad decisions over the next few years. One of the most notable was when he turned down a role in Quentin Tarantino’s blockbuster, Pulp Fiction. He reportedly stated he thought his career was well on the way and didn’t need this movie. While Bruce Willis went on to star in the role, Mickey Rourke never quite hit the big time with another movie after 9 ˝ Weeks.
In the 90’s, Rourke decided to return to the boxing ring. He had won his first boxing match at the age of 12, but after numerous concussions, he retired from the boxing ring in 1972. When he decided to re-enter the boxing world, he had originally wanted to go for a title fight, but he had to retire after only seven fights due to the severe facial injuries he received in the ring.
Michey Rourke Before and After Plastic Surgery
This was where the trouble started. In order to fix the damage to his face, Mickey Rourke allegedly underwent six nose operations, including rhinoplasty. He also is rumored to have had cartilage removed from behind his ear that used to help rebuild his nose. However, there are many plastic surgeons who report that Rourke had much more done in the lines of plastic surgery.
A number of facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons and rhinoplasty specialists from Beverly Hills believe that Rourke also had at least one face life, cheek implants, a brow lift, upper blepharoplasty, and lip fillers. Some of the tell tale signs include the scars in front of the ears and the fact that Rourke did not have sideburns for a period of years. This is common in men that have had numerous face lifts. The only correction for this is to resort to hair implants, which many believe he had as well. Although he’s never admitted it, the Mickey Rourke face lift rumor almost certainly must be true based on his appearance.
The disastrous results of this surgery are very clear when you look at Mickey Rourke today. His eyes are permanently slanted upward, and it’s reported that the eyes remain teary eyed 24 hours a day. However, Rourke has returned to the limelight somewhat with the 2008 movie, The Wrestler. Rourke won several awards, including the Golden Globe for Actor in a Leading Role and was nominated for two Oscars.
It seems that the Academy Awards are somewhat biased. Many thought that he was a sure win for the awards, but some people think the Mickey Rourke plastic surgery fiasco were partially to blame. One thing is sure; Mickey Rourke has repeated talked about the “wrong guy” that did the surgeries. In order to hide his eyes, you will often see him wearing sunglasses, even at the Academy Awards and during a recent Larry King interview.
While appearances certainly aren’t everything, in Hollywood they are. While Mickey Rourke has other films in production, he is a long way from the gorgeous leading male in 9 ˝ Weeks. Most sad of all, if he never can be, because he has permanently altered his face for the worse.
Teen plastic surgery?! The Walt Disney Company is known for taking little known teens and children and turning them into overnight stars. Many young actors and actresses get their start working in Disney films and television shows. Once these children and teens are signed with the Disney name, every aspect of their persona is controlled to match the Disney image. There are very high standards set for how they should act, look, and what they should say in public. However, many people are beginning to wonder if these standards are now too high. It is known that these young people are expected to maintain certain a weight and look a certain way. But have these standards gone so far as to influence these minors to undergo plastic surgery procedures?
Zac Efron nose job before and after?
It has recently been rumored that High School Musical stars and famous couple, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, have undergone these procedures. Many experts believe Vanessa has had a breast augmentation completed and that a Zac Efron nose job (rhinoplasty) may have happened. While these reports are yet to be confirmed, the pictures seem to say it all. If it’s true, the Zac Efron nose job was probably completed after the original High School Musical film as an attempt to be included in future films. Either way, one thing is for sure, Zac Efron has quickly climbed to A-list status, starring in his own movie - 17 Again - which will be released this week.
Ashley Tisdale also of the High School Musical group has also undergone the knife to obtain the look she feels is best. In November of 2007, Ashley had rhinoplasty completed to correct her deviated septum, of course. Ashley did admit she also had two small bumps removed that were left behind when she had previously broken her nose. The Ashley Tisdale nose job is not a rumor; it has been confirmed by the star and her reps. While the actress states she has not undergone any other procedures, rumors are circulating that she recently underwent breast augmentation surgery as well.
Miley Cyrus New Teeth?
Miley Cyrus new teeth? It’s rumored Miley Cyrus has also undergone procedures to enhance her appearance. It is known without a doubt that the Hannah Montana star has had work done on her teeth to present a brighter, straighter smile. Many orthodontic specialists agree she has had veneers placed on her teeth to give them a brighter white and straighter smile. Miley was also reported as saying she wanted to have her gum line lowered. She believes that her gums are too prominent in her smile and would like to have their appearance reduced. It was also heard that she is considering breast augmentation, since she feels that she doesn’t fill out all of her formal gowns.
While some of these stars adamantly deny the rumors and others state “medical” reasons for their surgeries, it seems all of the suspected procedures left the child stars looking different than they did before. Are these procedures truly to enhance the quality of life for these stars or to enhance the quality of the movies Disney produces? While no one will ever know whether Disney has a direct hand in influencing these teens to get work done, everyone can be sure the standards they set forth have do play a roll.
It’s unfortunate that some young stars are getting extreme cosmetic enhancements, and in turn, encouraging teen plastic surgery. Although it may feel temporarily good for to go out and buy an expensive designer purse, it offers no lasting satisfaction or happiness. The same applies to plastic surgery procedures. However, unlike a frivalous purchase of a purse, the negative effects of plastic surgery can last a lifetime.
Okay, I know the Oscars just happened last weekend, but here’s my pick for Red Carpet Look of the Week: Michelle Obama looking gorgeous in green on Wednesday at a celebration honoring Stevie Wonder, who was just awarded the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Yes, that’s right - I’m picking the First Lady over all the starlets in Hollywood!
Quite literally - and this is saying a lot, considering how much I’ve loved almost all of her fashion choices - I think this is the best she’s looked so far. The dress (designed by none other than Stevie’s wife, Kai Milla - wow!), the shoes, the jewels…and, most importantly, the hair. Her soft, curly bob is absolutely divine. Brava, Mrs. O! I salute your sartorial superiority once again!
Jennifer Aniston had a little “spring” in her step - and outfit - at the Marley & Moi premiere in Paris. It’s a rare sighting to see Miss Jen in anything other than her standard solids and to see her wearing a blue floral print is a surprise and a treat! I love how she paired the floral frock with steel grey tights and booties to cut the sweetness of the look. Floral with rock and roll accessories is a major trend this spring. Floral and leather. Floral and studs. Floral and steel grey. Naughty but nice.
Here are some cute floral options inspired by Jen’s look. First is a Tory Burch dress that is very similar to the print but has a fuller skirt and an interesting v-ed neckline. My soon-to-be-sister-in-law actually sent me a link to this dress earlier this week, so it was the first one I thought of! I also love the navy blue cut-out dress with a turquoise underlay, from Urban Outfitters. It is a dress that has sweetness and toughness already stitched in. And the floral from Ann Taylor Loft has the black sash detail to build off of - I would either tie it around twice and then knot it or replace it all together with a studded black leather belt.
And we can’t forget the shoes! Here are some fun pairs to get your creative juices flowing. First from Steve Madden, then Nine West and, as a splurge, some Louboutins!
Heidi Klum took a big fashion risk at the Oscars with her bright red, ultra-modern Roland Mouret couture gown - love it or hate it, she certainly stood out! But she wasn’t the only one: Her dapper hubby, Seal, took a little risk of his own, accenting his slim-cut tux with…black nail polish. Normally, I’m not a fan of black nails on men, as it tends to come off as a bit juvenile, but I actually dig it on Seal. I think it’s the nonchalant way he pulls it off; there’s nothing else remotely quirky about his outfit, so it’s actually very cool. Interested in persuading your own man to follow in his manicured footsteps? Order up a bottle of ManGlaze, a matte nail polish created with dudes in mind. It’s available in two shades: Matte black (”The Death Tar”) and matte gray (”Fuggen Ugly”), and hey - if he refuses to cooperate, slick it on yourself for a much cheaper take on the matte nail trend (ManGlaze sells for $6.66 + shipping and handling, a far cry from KO’s $22 bottles). What do you think? Is this a look you’d like to see on your own husband or boyfriend?
One of my favorite looks from last night’s Oscars ceremony belonged to Brad Pitt’s better half, one Ms. Angelina Jolie. It wasn’t the simple black Elie Saab gown that really did it for me (although it did complement her figure strikingly); instead, it was the highly effective combination of black dress + gleaming green earrings that really did me in. Angie’s earrings are emerald creations by Lorraine Schwartz, so unless you’re an heiress you’re probably going to be hard-pressed to duplicate this look down to a T, but I think it could also work extremely well in a more casual setting. Observe:
Combine this black, floor-length tiered maxi tube dress from Old Navy ($29.50) with these vibrantly colored beaded wire earrings from Forever 21 ($4.80) and you have a casual take on Angie’s formal stunner that will work perfectly for both spring and summer. Gorgeous.
As we have all stated before, gold and silver are definitly a 2009 fashion must have. However, no one shows it off better than Halle Berry. She would look good in a paper bag, but in this dress she looks stunning. Halle was definitely the bell of the ball at the Essence Awards. I was amazed to see a few critics actually complain about this dress. Some were heard saying the extra layers were a bit too much. I think it is absolutely gorgeous! Let me know what you think. Is this another great look for Halle, or should she try something different?
The 2009 Brit Awards were held last night in Earl’s Court and the fashions were from end to the other of the spectrum. The UK’s creme de la creme of the music industry were all on hand to see who walked away with the awards. This awards show highlights some fashions that will kick off London’s Fashion Week, which starts tomorrow. True to a musician’s sentiment to express themselves in every way possible, some of the fashions were off the wall, but others were simply stunning, such as Vogue Cover Girl, Carol Cole. Cole’s band Girl’s Aloud (photo top left) accepted the award for “Best Single” for their enormously popular “The Promise.”
While the stars, designers, and the fashions were everywhere as Fashion Week kicked off today, some of the shows seem to affected by the economy. Two designers, Monique Lhuillierand Carmen Marc Valvo, opted for smaller shows in lieu of their usual extravagant runways shows. Vera Wang will showcase her new fashions in her downtown store.
There were reports that some of the most famous fashion editors were complaining about taking taxis instead of their usual towncars.
Jason Wu, middle, with two new pieces of his 2009/10 collection
Some of the most popular shows included Jason Wu, who we all know is the designer behind some of the First Lady, Michelle Obama’s, most popular fashions. The show was packed, with standing room only.
Linda Carter in Caroline Herrera, Hillary Duff in Donna Karan, and Cicely Tyson in B Michael
The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Show was also a fantastic hit, as the stars modeled red dress in an effort to increase awareness for heart disease. Linda Carter hosted the event, which displayed the fashions of many well known designers, including two from England. In addition to Linda Carter, Katie Curic, Hillary Duff, Cicely Tyson, Brittany Snow, and Nastia Liukin also modeled these beautiful red dresses.
It will be interesting to see what the next week brings.
The film industry has decided to let America vote for the best dress for this year’s Academy Awards trophy presenter.
Seven designers were asked to create a gown that will be seen more than any other gown that night.
The designers are Sam Kori George, Moire Conroy, Marianne Kooimans, Alan Del Rosario, Maria Pinto, Robert Rodriguez, and Nicolas Putvinski all had three weeks to design their gowns.
The winner is to be announced on February 22 at the red carpet show before the awards. You can vote online at Oscar.com until February 17th.
Tish and Amber have given us a rundown of their favorite fashion picks for the Grammys last night. While I was a little surprised by their picks, different opinions are what makes the fashion world go round. I watched the show last night and wasn’t particularly blown away by the fashion choices. But I do need to give some love to Adele. I heart Adele. I love her voice, I love her lyrics, I love her style. And her look last night was styled by none other than theAnna Wintour. This coat is amazing! The jewel-tone shade of green is gorgeous against her skin and perfectly complements her eyes, making them pop. It is the epitome of a perfect evening coat and a beautiful choice for the Best New Artist of the Year. Also, check out her silver flower broach. Broaches are a great way to add a little intrigue to any outfit and they are going to be a major way to accessorize this year. Even our First Lady is a fan of the broach and since she is the new fashion world darling, you know it will be big.
It gets tiresome feeling as though people pick on Paris Hilton, but this little number just does not fit in with the rest of the attendees. It looks almost like a negligee (or as MTV Newsroom put it “a swimsuit cover–how functional”) Maybe I am simply overloaded with formal wear at this year’s Grammy awards, but this 2003 Versace “dress” should have stayed in the closet!
Of course, Paris doesn’t get my only vote for the worst dressed. Here’s another: Estelle. While her distinictive fashion sense often borders on the extreme, (but she usually pulls it off), this looks like some sort of alien/space costume gone horribly wrong. It’s a Bernard Chandran dress, but what is up with the Guiseppe Zanotti open toed boots/shoes?
While there were some lovely dresses and very handsome tuxes at tonight’s Grammy Awards, there were a few people who should have consulted a professional.
Carrie Underwood is usually very fashionable, but this dress simply doesn’t make the grade. With the multiple bands around the waist, Carrie, who we all know is very trim, looks about twenty pounds heavier. If this is the new spring style, I may not leave the house.
Lady Hannah also looked like something you expect to see in a local thrift store window. I’m not sure if it was the ghastly black shoes or the way the pink made her look like someone on the verge of a blood transfusion, but this outfit is BLAH.
Seriously ladies, with all the talented people you surround yourselves with, maybe it’s time to find someone who knows fashion!
I love watching the Grammy’s just to see what everyone is wearing and this year was certainly not a disappointment. As the stars arrived, it seemed most of them looked positively beautiful as usual.
So far, Lisa Rinna’s gown has to be one of my all time favorites! It’s is absolutely stunning on Lisa’s perfect body and designer Zuhair Murad certainly has a hit. During an interview January, she had stated she was wearing one of Murad’s gowns, but wasn’t sure what she was wearing to the Academy Awards. I have no doubt she will choose well.
Kathy Griffen didn’t disappoint either, this beautiful navy blue gown (navy is very hot this year) looks incredible. She was very playful, as expected on the red carpet, and looked fabulous.
Many of the gowns this year were off the shoulder or one-shouldered. This was really no surprise, as this is one of the hottest trends of the year. Heather Schmid almost reminds me of mermaid in this gown. Love the color, but I didn’t care for the length.
Lauren Knudsen with Dweezil Zappa looked like a breath of spring in this beautiful bright yellow gown. Not everyone can pull of this color, but I think she managed it fabuously.
I will keep you updated as to designer, fabric and other information about these and other beautiful gowns from the 51st annual Grammy Awards. Just couldn’t wait to share these photos, but let me say, there are a few dresses that must hit the “Oh I wish she didn’t” list as well! Stay tuned for more!
Puffy dresses were a hit at tonight’s Grammy Awards. We have seen these on all the runways lately, and apparently so have the stars. I love this look that was worn by Phoebe Price. As you can see from the pictures, this puffy dress style was a hit. I love this pink dress worn by Phoebe and it is a great way to hid those not so friendly hips, (not that she has anything to worry about). This dress really makes a statement, whether it is on the red carpet or at the local club. However, my only question is “What the heck was she thinking with the head piece?” She looks like she might fly away any minute.
How many times have you been walking behind someone, only to notice their panty lines are as obvious as a neon sign? While thongs aren’t for everyone, here’s a great pair that actually sit tight against the skin, without any bunching. Flingz are even packaged in little plastic bags for a quick change if needed.
Kate Hudson has perfected the behind the scenes lineless look in this unbelievably chic Alexander Wang number. Love the color!
As posted earlier, unfortunately we are seeing many fashion “oops” from the 80’s. Another blunder with the infamous shoulder pads. Jennifer Connelly from “He’s Just Not That Into You” just couldn’t pull off the emerald green mini at the premier of the film. I reserve all judgement on the shoes. That weird, funky part of me acutally likes them.
Kristen Bell looked great this week, combining a sweet floral skirt with a laid-back grey tee and toughening up the sweetness with a black leather jacket. It’s casual and laid-back while still remaining pulled-together. It’s just the kind of outfit I’d want to wear to a dinner with friends or on a date with my hubby. Floral prints with leather jackets are my go-to in spring and soft grey tees are my go-to all year round. I also love her sassy red toenail polish peeking out in her gladiator-caged-combo heel. Nicely done!
