Oh, Julia.  So pretty.  I love the look she sported into Letterman yesterday.  She looks springy, cool, laid back, pulled together and the bright blue handbag is the perfect way to shake up the otherwise muted yet classic look.  So I did a little shopping of my own and found a way to recreate the look entirely with Forever 21 pieces and one stop over at Ebay.

So you start with jeans for $29.90, add a classic white tee for $4.80 and wrap around a scarf with a pop of blue for $9.80.

Accessorize with a crisp 3/4 sleeve white jacket for $24.80 and some tortoise shell sunglasses for $6.80.  And you have her classic spring look for $76.10!  Chances are you have a white tee and basic jeans anyway, so you could have the look for under $50 if you take those out of the equation. 

Now, I couldn’t track down a bag as unique as Julia’s at Forever 21, so I hunted on Ebay for a cobalt blue handbag.  This one did the trick in the color department and it has an attachable strap that you can use or you can just carry it as a clutch.  It’s at a "buy now" price of $16.99, so again, very affordable.  I’d still want to find a bag with the exotic flair of Julia’s though, so let me know if you know of any good places to find one!
