Miracle of miracles, it is raining today in Los Angeles. (Raining in earnest, too, especially by southern California standards.) Normally I love the rain, but today it just makes me want to go back to bed! Between the cold I’m nursing and the gloomy weather, I find my thoughts drifting toward comfort rather than fashion. Here’s what I wish I was wearing right now:

This cozy gray hoodie from Old Navy (on sale for $15) would provide just the right amount of warmth when layered over a classic white tank from Hanes. These white PJ pants from Forever 21 ($12.80), with their whimsical gray and black chandelier print and black ribbon drawstring waist, are much cuter than sweat pants, and I would complete the look with these fuzzy Old Navy slippers, on sale for $10.50. Just the ticket for lounging around on the futon with a bowl of veggie soup, a cup of hot tea and a big stack of Netflix to watch. Oh, and don’t forget the Kleenex!
