Two designers, Monique Lhuillierand Carmen Marc Valvo, opted for smaller shows in lieu of their usual extravagant runways shows. Vera Wang will showcase her new fashions in her downtown store.
There were reports that some of the most famous fashion editors were complaining about taking taxis instead of their usual towncars.
