It started with the hue of Amy’s hair at the Oscars and it has now intensified after seeing Scarlett’s hair this week: I am ITCHIN’ to dye my hair red. I was rockin’ auburn hues about a year ago but in the past six months I’ve been going the deeper brown route with my hair color. I’m a big fan of Natural Instincts to play around with my hair color, since it is not permanent and is gentler on hair. But after seeing how confidently pretty Ms. Adams and Ms. Johannson look in their shades of red, I’m contemplating shelling out the big bucks to have the color done right, by a professional (!), especially since my hair has gotten so dark. It’s a big commitment though, so I need to know what you think of these red-headed sirens. Do you think this is a look that has staying power? Or is it a trendy phase? Discuss.
