It’s finally happening: Vibrating mascaras are coming soon to a drugstore near you! When Lancome Oscillation and Estee Lauder TurboLash were introduced last year, I was definitely intrigued by the idea of a vibrating mascara wand. The vibrations help to separate lashes and apply mascara evenly from roots to tips, to help you achieve - at least in theory - the sexiest lashes ever. Unfortunately, I was never able to justify the $30+ price tag that comes with those department store mascaras - I’m a drugstore mascara girl through and through - so I’ve never been able to try one out for myself! Well, all that is about to change, since Maybelline is introducing their new Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara. Available for just $14.99 (less than half the price of the versions by Lancome and Estee Lauder!), this will give the more wallet-conscious among us the chance to check out these “good vibrations” for ourselves. The brush vibrates over 7,000 times per minute, adding volume, length and curl, and the battery should last for around 4 months from the first time you use it. Will the rest of you be lining up for a tube of Pulse Perfection with me? Or have you already tried out the department store vibrating mascaras? Love ‘em or leave ‘em? Let me know your thoughts!
