Much has been said about Ms. Hillary Rodham Clinton, former First Lady and the woman who would be President. It’s difficult to remember when - if ever - a world leader’s wife turned out to be such a polarizing figure and a political force to be reckoned with in her own right. While Hillary is most well-known for her ambition, intelligence and work in Washington, there has also been much public speculation about her appearance. From the time husband Bill took office, everyone was talking about her dowdy outfits and her notorious affinity for sensible headbands. But it wasn’t until her Senate run and, in particular, last year’s bid for the Presidency that the rumors of an alleged Hillary Clinton face lift started swirling. refreshed, plastic surgery leapt immediately to mind. One political opponent even went so far as to voice his opinion that Hillary had undergone “millions of dollars” worth of plastic surgery, stating, “You ever see a picture of her back then? Whew. I don’t know why Bill married her. She looks good now.” The improvements in Clinton’s appearance are undeniable: Gone are the wrinkles, jowls and droopy eyes, replaced instead by a smooth, even skin tone and a generally more youthful visage. The frown lines between her eyes may have been erased by Botox, and some have even hinted that she may have invested in cheek implants. So is there any truth to these Hillary Clinton facelift allegations, or is she simply one of those women who has to grow into her looks, getting better with age? Hillary herself has denied plastic surgery, challenging reporters, “Do you want to check for the scars?” So, in the end, it’s really up to you! Much like Clinton’s candidacy, let’s put it to a vote: Do you think Hillary has had plastic surgery or not?
