workoutI am one of those people that would love to be fit and buff but…I have a tendency to become bored when working out.  I need any sort of distraction to keep me going at the gym.  During cardio it is easy to focus on something else - like my music or the tv or youtube.  But if I’m doing weight training, it is a different story.  I have to concentrate on the number of reps I’m doing in each set, which can become cumbersome and sometimes frustrating.  To help me stay motivated, I often find myself counting backwards.  So if I am doing 15 reps of curls, I start at 15 and end at 1.  Or I will start counting in multiples of five, which always seems more manageable.  Just silly mind tricks that usually work, kind of like setting your clock five minutes fast so you’re never late.
