Do you have a dried-up tube of mascara lying around? (Probably most likely if you only wear mascara on special occasions, or you like to try out tons of different brands and formulas.) If it’s less than 3 months old or has never been opened, don’t toss it - you can actually bring it back from the dead! Here’s how to do it, courtesy of a tip in the latest issue of Cosmo: “Place the tube under running hot water for a minute to soften up the product inside” (July 2009, p. 83). Voila! Your mascara should be ready to go.
