For me, fake toenails are something that I’m aware of, but I’ve never seriously considered wearing. Artificial fingernails are understandable, if a bit impractical, but fake nails for your feet?! I’ve seen these things in the drugstore a million times and never given them a second thought. Then BellaSugar made a very interesting post on the subject: Her mom apparently spotted a group of women on a plane with “matching perfect pedicures” that turned out to be cheap-o drugstore press-on nails! Even more intriguing to me are the comments on the post; several readers report that they use fake toenails all the time, with excellent results! Well, color me surprised. Now I have to know: What are your thoughts on the subject of faux tips for your toes?
