I LOVE Halloween…seriously. I’m one of those people who starts planning her costume around, oh, November 2nd. (Yes, I already know what I’m going as this year, but it’s a secret!) I also totally adore Halloween-themed anything, and that goes double for beauty products. (And, as a nail polish junkie, it goes about triple for seasonally themed polish collections.) Thus, it was all I could do to keep from squeeing out loud when I learned today that China Glaze – the company that brought us last year’s wildly popular limited edition Fortune Teller polish (orange glitter in a black base) – has just unveiled their Halloween collection for 2010. It’s called “Awakening,” and the name and artwork indicate a loose vampire theme, but the polishes are a lot more inventive than your standard blacks and blood reds. Here are the three “ghoulish glitters” that will be available exclusively at Sally Beauty come September (click the links to see the glorious swatches posted to the official China Glaze Twitter):

  • Mummy May I: “Vampy, wine colored purple with flecks of hot pink glitter”
  • Zombie Zest: “A mossy green shade with gold flecks of micro glitter”
  • Ick-A-Body: “A dark green base chocked full of orange glitter”

I love these! The names are perfect, the colors are beautiful and unexpected, and everything is as glittery as possible! What do you think of this collection? Or is it still just a little too early for you to start thinking about October?
