Lindsay Lohan made quite a stir at her recent probation hearing, where she was sentenced to 90 days in prison. (Of course, she’s planning to appeal the decision, so time will tell whether LiLo actually ends up in the clink.) But one thing’s for certain: People aren’t likely to forget about her courtroom manicure anytime soon. It appeared that Lindsay decided to show her displeasure with the proceedings by scrawling a certain, um, message on her middle fingernail, on top of her swirly, multicolored pastel polish. Now, in Lindsay’s defense, she claims that the profanity wasn’t intended for the judge at all. Instead, she and a friend had painted their nails “as a joke” the night before, and it just so happened that the mani coincided with her fateful court date. Others have speculated that the message was actually intended for the paparazzi. What do you think of Lindsay’s manicure? Kinda funny, or totally inappropriate, given the circumstances? It certainly doesn’t seem to have worked in her favor as far as the verdict is concerned…
