Q: How much do I love this velvet equestrian coat from (surprise!) Newport News?!
A: So much!
Okay, so it’s Newport News, which means they styled it all wrong - you’ll have to imagine it without the puffy-sleeved poet’s shirt and the unflattering mom jeans underneath - but I can tell this would be gorgeous in the right context. I adore the deep wine color of the velvet (it’s also available in black and espresso), the silver buttons and the feminine cut - oh, and did I mention that it costs less than $100? Unbelievable! I think I might need this coat. If only the weather would cooperate!
