Do you recognize this lovely lady at left? It’s none other than model Josie Maran. She may not have reached fashion icon status, but I definitely recognize her from her many ads, and I always thought she was one of the prettier models. Well, Josie is no longer content with being merely a pretty, well-compensated face! She has created a line of eco-friendly cosmetics, available at Sephora, and I have to say that the collection looks promising. My favorite so far is her Finger Paints, a palette of four "feather-light shimmers" in neutral, universally flattering colors that you simply smudge on with your fingers. The palette includes a soft gold, a pearly white, a rosy pink and a bronze, and you can use them on your eyes, cheeks or lips. The makeup is free of irritating artificial ingredients like fragrances and parabens, and the compact itself is made of biodegradable corn plastic. Mostly, though, I’m coveting this because I like the idea of finger painting with my makeup! I can’t be alone on this, right?
