ombreRemember the ombre trend? It’s still going strong, only now it’s not confined to your clothes and accessories. Why not follow these steps and create a sexy, multicolored eye shadow look in seconds?

  1. Choose an eye shadow palette (such as Sue Devitt’s Marine Minerals Eye Palette, shown in Green Isles) which features dark, medium and light shades of the same color shadow. [Bonus: Looks pretty even before it gets to your face!]
  2. Apply the darkest shade along your upper lash line with a flat-tip brush.
  3. Sweep the medium shade onto your eyelid crease with a shadow brush.
  4. Brush the lightest shade under your brow.

That’s all there is to it! The look is soft and colorful, not loud and garish - the essence of ombre.
