Katie Holmes was out and about with Suri yesterday in the NYC.  For some reason this picture really makes me miss New York - it’s really inexplicable but it has something to do with the sidewalk and slight gray to the day and the way the weather looks like it’s cool and warm all at once.

But I digress.

I write because I’m a sucker for plaid, especially red plaid.  I’m also a sucker for a tunic style shirt.  And I love how Katie’s cinches in at the waist.  

So, behold my little find over at Forever 21 that is a gingham pattern but is still red and has it’s own waist-cinching belt.  

Now if I could only find a free ticket to NYC for a lovely autumn weekend….
