Fried, M.D. of the American Acne and Rosacea Society, "regular exercise reduces levels of insulin and stress hormones, which when elevated can trigger the production of breakout-boosting sebum" (Women’s Health, Nov. ‘08, p.24) In other words, skimping on your workout routine because you feel bad about your breakout is a huge mistake: The exercise will not only benefit your body and your mind, it will help clear up your skin as well.
