There is a lot of hype surrounding the Shu Uemura Eyelash curler but I’ve kind of thought, an eyelash curler is an eyelash curler, so what’s the fuss?

I’ll tell you the fuss:

I was on set last week and the makeup artist had me curl my lashes with the Shu Uemura curler. I did five seconds on each eye, per my usual curling routine. BUT he had to wait about a minute for the curl to calm down before he applied my mascara: My lashes were literally touching my eyelids. I have never experienced a curl like that before. I know what I hope to get in my stocking this year…oh, who am I kidding? I’ll probably buy it for myself before Christmas rolls around…
