As you may have heard by now (insert grim chuckle here), the economy isn’t doing terribly well at the moment. At LatestBeauty, we’ve made it our mission to suss out the best bargains and the biggest savings for you…and, to be honest, for ourselves as well. But it’s still fun to dream, isn’t it? Especially when you happen upon something that sounds incredibly lovely and glamorous, but you just can’t seem to justify the price. Well, dream along with me, then, because I am absolutely enamored of Guerlain’s Sublime Radiant Powder, part of their Midnight Butterfly collection. I love the antique look of the metallic glass bottle, with its romantic butterfly adornment. I love that the bottle contains a fine, silvery powder that you simply mist on to your face, body or hair whenever you want an extra hint of subtle sparkle. I love that it makes me visualize a glamorous woman sitting at her vanity, putting the finishing touches on her look before she heads out for an evening of cocktails and Fred-and-Ginger-ish dancing. But I don’t love the $82 price tag. If you can afford to indulge yourself thusly, be my guest! I envy you! As for the rest of us, we’ll just have to dream on…sigh.
