Saw this and had to share it.  Lucky likens the color of Laura Mercier’s Caviar Dreams to the colors of a peacock (1/09, pg. 66) and I couldn’t agree more.  Of course, I’ve already professed my love of peacock-inspired fashion and now to see it move into the beauty world, well, you can imagine my affinity towards this polish.  It’s being described in the blogosphere as "dark metallic gray," "charcoal," "green," and "black."  I see navy and purple and silver.  In reality, this nail polish is all of those colors.  It is a true chameleon of color and perfect for the holiday season because it will complement most of your holiday frocks.  Reviews on Sephora say that it chips easily but I haven’t met a nail polish yet that doesn’t.  I’m pretty rough on my nails.  But I’ve found that remembering to put on a clear top coat increases the longevity of my nail color.  I’ve got a bottle of Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails that works great - but apparently it’s been discontinued!  Um, what?? When did that happen?  I’m going to need to be on the hunt now for a new topcoat.  Any suggestions?
