fruits and veggies

Well, hellooo Latest Beauty-iers! Sorry for my long absence, but I was home in Florida with the fam this past week celebrating Thanksgiving and eating some of the best foods that have ever reached my mouth. I don’t know about you, but I pretty much ate everything that was offered and ate until my stomach literally ached from overindulgence. It. Was. Divine. But after all that fried turkey, pumpkin/apple/chocolate/pecan pies, sweet potatos, mashed potatos, cookies, mom’s spaghetti, scotcharoos, dinner rolls…you get the idea…I am feeling a need for some cleansing. I’m craving fruits and veggies and large salads and I’ve never been so excited about grocery shopping for them. In fact, I am so excited about buying the best "in-season" goodies and making sure that I’m buying them at their peak, that this guide is going to come in extremely handy. How did I not know about FoodFit.com before now? It lists all the foods that are in season, by season, how to best choose them and even recipes. For fruits and veggies that aren’t on my normal shopping list, I never know how to best pick them - squeezing, firmness, color, etc. are a mystery to me - and how long can they be stored for? And how best to store them? Seriously, this site has it all. Bring on the freshness.

Are you feeling some post-hoilday food guilt?
